Fan Gets Big Surprise with WWE Superstar Seth Rollins
CANTON, Ohio (May 2022):Being a hard core WWE fan, it was a no brainer who Nicole most wanted to meet. She’s followed wresting superstar Seth Rollins for years, and never could have imagined what was about to go down at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
There was also a main event before the show even started. Nicole had no clue what was about to happen as she sat in a room with her back to the door. That was until she heard a familiar voice. She turned her head around so fast and said, “OH MY Seth Rollins?!”She about knocked her chair over in excitement,” said her dad Steven. When Nicole went to give him a high five, her dad recalled that Rollins opened his arms and said, “Get in here, we’re here for hugs!” For Nicole it was definitely her wrestler’s favorite maneuver yet. Nicole’s exclusive meeting was happy, relaxed and all about Nicole. Rollins spent a lot of time with her, and many memories were also captured in photos reflecting all their precious moments together. Rollins also gave Nicole WWE gifts and personally signed additional merchandise that she brought from her collection. Nicole’s wish also gave her a new perspective on seeing a WWE event. Even though she’s been to a live show, this was her family’s first time sitting in ringside seats. “We’ve never been this close before!”beamed Nicole.
“She’s always so happy, but yesterday was honestly the happiest I think we’ve ever seen her,” said her mom Ashley. “We’re very grateful to Kids Wish Network and to everyone who was able to help. It’s something she will NEVER forget!!!!” Hotel accommodations for the night were provided by Hyatt Place Canton.
When Nicole was a toddler, she became sick with a virus that triggered a disturbing chain of events. She suddenly had difficulty breathing and turned completely pale. Nicole was rushed to the hospital and coded in the ambulance. She coded again during surgery. Nicole remained in the hospital for five months, and needed rehabilitation to learn how to crawl and walk again. The lack of oxygen caused brain trauma, also bringing on seizures. Nicole was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, a heart muscle disease that causes the heart chambers to thin, stretch and grow larger. In addition to needing many medications, she underwent years of various therapies.
