Lavish Wish is Fashionista’s High-End Happiness

Hope Celebrated After Many Years of Struggles

BOERNE, Texas. (December 2020): Even before Hope was born, she was diagnosed with spina bifida and underwent surgery in utero. She’s since undergone 20 corrective surgeries for complications related to her condition. It’s been difficult for this teen having to cope with all the procedures, doctor appointments, and daily medical challenges. Her escape is fashion, whether she’s looking at stylish magazines, watching beauty and fashion tutorials, or following high-end designers. Kids Wish Network dazzled Hope, purchasing her a generous Nordstrom gift card, taking this high-end fashionista’s style to the next level. “What a wonderful surprise for Hope!” said her mom Kimberly. “You can never go wrong telling a girl she gets to go on a shopping spree!”

Star Treatment

Hope received special attention at Nordstrom. She and her mom were warmly welcomed and taken to a  reserved table at its in-store restaurant Bazille. They were gifted with samples of designer beauty products, fancy chocolates, and sweets. There was also a gourmet three-course meal and a visit from the chef. “We are very blessed,” said her mom. “It was so fun to watch her be celebrated and after so many years of surgeries and doctors. It’s so nice to see your child be happy and experience total joy, that was really amazing to me.” 

Hope is also putting her gift card to use, picking out a Gucci belt and Gucci handbag that were at the top of her wish list. She’s so excited and already plans on going back to her new favorite store. “Unless you become wealthy when you’re older, that’s probably the only designer bag you’ll own,” teased her mom. 

“It’s an amazing feeling for Hope to finally have the high-end fashion that she’s been dreaming of, something extraordinary just for herself,” said her Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner.
