EASLEY,S.C. (December2021):When going through life-changing health struggles, a temporary escape is crucial, and for Olyvia it’s immersing herself in the fictional worlds of Harry Potter and Disney. Now that her dream is coming true, she’ll soon be able to experience these worlds in her own reality. Kids Wish Network first surprised her with a massive Harry Potter Hogwarts Icons Collector’s Edition LEGO set. The incredibly detailed LEGO set will provide her with hours of enchanted fun. Olyvia was then surprised with an amazing travel package for her family to visit her favorite worlds. Kids Wish Network included generous gift cards to Hotels.com, Disney, airfare for her first flight ever, and tickets to Universal Studios to experience all the Harry Potter attractions.It’s going to be out of this world!

Olyvia was born with truncus arteriosus, a heart condition where her single large blood vessel failed to divide. She’s had four open-heart surgeries, and will need additional surgeries in the future. She also has autoimmune encephalitis, a condition where the immune system attacks the brain.Her immune system has shut down, and she struggles with her muscles moving uncontrollably. Olyvia under goes weekly infusions, and has been through chemo to prevent cancers, a side effect from her necessary meds. At one point she lost all fine motor skills, and worked hard in therapies to relearn how to walk, talk and eat independently.
