Alyvia Gets Behind the Scenes View of Award-Winning Clydesdale Farm

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (October 2020): Since birth, Alyvia has struggled with the challenges of Angelman syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that affects the nervous system. Her condition also triggers seizures, and she’ll continue to need help with basic needs and care. Alyvia spends a lot of time undergoing therapies and works hard at learning new skills. She even competed on the equestrian team in the Special Olympics. The one thing that gets her really excited is horses, especially the majestic Clydesdales. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, surprised Alyvia and her family with generous gift cards to Grandview Clydesdale Tours in Dunnellon, and Hotels.com for accommodations when they visit one of the most award-winning Clydesdale farms in the world. She’ll be able to go behind-the-scenes and see all the aspects of caring for and raising Clydesdales, and also choose from special seasonal events. Alyvia was overjoyed. “We’re super appreciative and really excited,” said her mom Robyn.

“Alyvia is going to be thrilled seeing the regal Clydesdales up close, and getting to learn more about her adored breed of horses,” said her Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner.
