A Wild Wish at Great Wolf Lodge

HIGHLAND MILLS, N.Y. (October 2020): Dylan loves water parks, and is a game show fanatic. He especially gets excited watching host Steve Harvey on Family Feud. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, created a Family Feud-style showdown to reveal his wish. Survey says… his dream coming true is number one for splash-filled adventure! Dylan and his family are going on a wild getaway to Great Wolf Lodge, a resort featuring a massive indoor water park with twisting slides, tubing, wet play zones, a lazy river, and many more family activities. Dylan received a generous Great Wolf Lodge gift card that his family can use for their choice of accommodations, dining, activities, and merchandise. 

Dylan has Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects appetite, growth, metabolism, and the endocrine system. A major symptom is a constant sense of hunger and never feeling full. His extremely low muscle tone also affected his speech, as well as delaying his ability to walk until he was three. 

“It was really heartwarming seeing Dylan get so excited about his dream coming true,” said his Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner. “He’s going to have such an amazing time on his great family adventure.”
