Five-Year-Old Bravely Faces Open Heart Surgery

Our son went through having open heart surgery when the United States was going through a pandemic which we now call the Coronavirus/COVID. He is a true Hero because he shows people how brave he is living with congenital heart disease. He recovered remarkably fast, with the same resilience he braved during the pandemic. He also had a left ear stapedectomy. In the face of adversity, he always comes through. As the saying goes, tough times don’t last; tough people do.

Boston is a bright and curious child with an energetic and bubbly personality. He is eager to make friends and brings out the best in people. He doesn’t yet know what he can’t do or what he is capable of, which is to say that he is full of grit and can be tenacious. He is outgoing and loves to make others smile and laugh.

He was nominated by his mom who is so inspired by his bravery throughout the challenges of his open-heart surgery. Kids Wish Network is pleased to reward him as a Hero.
