Despite Tragedies,Hero will ‘Never Give Up Every Day’

Michael has undergone a lot of tragedy in his life. He previously lost his dad after his family was in a critical car accident. He was living with his mom, aunt and grandmother, and sadly suffered another devastating loss. He’s now grieving for his mom who just passed away from an illness. While he puts on a brave face, he’s struggling with confusion and sadness. Even after such devastation, he keeps a positive attitude about his life and continues to say, “Never give up every day.” Michael also has autism, and he continually inspires others with his sweet and caring nature. He’s often called upon to lead prayers at church. He was nominated by family friends who continue to support Michael through his journey of healing. Kids Wish Network is honored to award Michael as a Hero.
