Teen’s Inner Super Hero Shines During Hospitalization
Prince was admitted to the hospital, and it was a challenging time of unknowns undergoing all the testing and procedures during his stay. He was compliant and polite with staff, and although he was most afraid of getting a G-Tube placement, Prince courageously fought through his fears and calmly made it through the procedure. Throughout his hospitalization, he inspired staff with his positive energy and happy spirit and had a joyful effect on others making everyone smile. He was nominated by his nurse Toni Freitas at Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children, who was so proud of his bravery. Kids Wish Network is happy to award Prince as a Hero of the Month
