Little Hero is a Big Helper Throughout Mom’s Fight Against Cancer

Asiya was just two when her mother was diagnosed with an advanced stage cancer. From the moment she was able, she found ways to care for and emotionally nurture not just her mother, but also her siblings on a daily basis. Her sense of empathy and compassion is beyond her young age, she’s now three. She helps each and every day with the care and feeding of her mentally disabled brother, showing care and affection for him, as well as ensuring that her mother is happy. In her short life, Asiya has learned lessons about caring, empathy, and compassion, and has grown into those attributes. She is always aware of the emotional state of others around her, and somehow knows exactly how to cheer someone up or provide comfort when it’s needed most. She was nominated by her proud mom, and Kids Wish Network is so happy to award Asiya as a Hero.
