Hero Perseveres Through Challenges of Hospitalizations

Yadid acquired a spontaneous pneumothorax that required two hospitalizations for treatment. He had two types of chest tubes for treatment, including a surgery. He’s been in the hospital for almost three weeks in total. Yadid maintained an optimistic and brave attitude throughout all of the challenges. He is funny, dedicated to getting better, and was a great patient to care for. He often made his nurses laugh even in the midst of feeling pain and healing. He was nominated by his Child Life Specialist Adrienne Feilden at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital in Fountain Valley, California. Kids Wish Network is happy to award Yadid as a Hero of the Month.
