Kids Wish Network Sinks an Ace for PGA Golf Enthusiast
RIVERBANK, Calif. (July 2024): Golf enthusiast Jacob first received a special video from St. André Golf, one of his favorite sketch comedy groups known for their witty banter and comical spoofs about the world of golf. They masterly created a personalized skit for Jacob, revealing that Kids Wish Network was making his dream come true with a major shopping spree at the PGA TOUR Superstore!
Jacob and his family arrived at the PGA TOUR Superstore in Dublin, California. A professional videographer was also there to capture his excitement while being outfitted with all the top gear to elevate his game. He received a personalized fitting for Titleist irons, a driver and bag. The PGA TOUR Superstore graciously donated a generous gift card for his shopping spree, and Level 2 Productions provided their videography services for Jacob’s memorable day.
With his next surprise, his treasured new gear is going to get optimal playtime. Jacob will experience a golfer’s paradise, playing on a prestigious private golf course with stunning views of the ocean. Then there’s the ace. Jacob will be hitting the links with a professional golfer who also invited him to lunch! It’s going to be an awe-inspiring day on the course.
Jacob has two brain tumors called grade 2 diffuse astrocytoma. One of his tumors is located in a portion of his brain that is too dangerous to operate on, and there’s currently no viable treatment options. Jacob feels helpless waiting to see how his tumors progress, and describes them as a ticking time bomb. He continues to have an MRI every 6 months.
