Hero Bravely Endures Injury and Pushes Through Uncertainties

Willem was involved in a motor vehicle accident. He had bilateral femur and pelvis fractures and underwent two surgeries. Willem has had multiple CT scans, an NG tube placement, and a lot of physical and occupational therapy. Willem has continued to stay positive and have a great attitude through all his scans and treatments. Willem was always kind to the medical team throughout his hospital experience. His mother said he has been so brave with his injuries. 

He was nominated by his Child Life Specialist Brooke Davis at Cox Health in Springfield, MO. Kids Wish Network is happy to award this courageous fighter a Hero.
