HENDERSON, Nev. (December 2023): Addison has Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a genetic condition that affects many parts of the body, Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy, global delay, and other medical complications. After she was born, she spent 33 days in the NICU. Addison had her first seizure at two years old, and takes medication to help prevent episodes. She is completely dependent on others for care, and relies on a wheelchair for mobility. Her heart and kidneys are being monitored, and she recently had a spinal fusion surgery.
