Buzz Lightyear Fan to Experience Disney and Beyond by Kids Wish Network

NORMAN, Okla. (November 2021): Ryker lights up with the biggest smile when he sees his favorite Toy Story character Buzz Lightyear. It’s heartwarming to see him so full of joy. Just imagine his reaction if he went to Disney and saw him life-size at the Toy Story themed attractions. Kids Wish Network made it possible, purchasing them generous Disney gift cards that his family can use for tickets, accommodations, merchandise and food. Merlin’s Magic Wand provided tickets for them to experience LEGOLAND, and their Orlando adventure also includes tickets to Universal Studios. 

From a young age, Ryker faced many challenges from a traumatic brain injury, and continues to battle additional severe health complications and deteriorating health. He can no longer sustain food, has rampant seizures, and relies on a wheelchair. Ryker has also been through a lot of transition. He was recently adopted by parents who love and nurture this sweet boy in his precious remaining days. He’s  part of a beautiful family with other adopted special needs children. This Buzz Lightyear fan will soon have a meaningful wish of family togetherness to Disney and beyond. 

Update: We’re saddened to share that Ryker passed away shortly after his wish came true. Kids Wish Network is so grateful we could give his family this very special time together experiencing the magic of Disney and more. His last precious days were filled with many smiles and so much happiness. These joyful times stay with his family as treasured memories.
