A Transforming Wish of Family Fun and Happiness

ORLANDO, Fla. (July 2021): Parker gets so excited about The Transformers, and really wanted to meet Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Kids Wish Network came up with the ultimate adventure to transform his challenging days into special moments of family fun and happiness. 

They were flown to Orlando, and of course some of Parker’s favorite moments were getting to see his adored Bumblebee and experiencing Transformers The Ride 3D. “Universal was so much fun!” said his mom Elizabeth. “We all really enjoyed it and were so thankful for the disability pass so we didn’t have to wait in any lines.” Parker also enjoyed the Harry Potter attractions, and the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride. Their fun continued another day at LEGOLAND Florida’s theme park, courtesy of Merlin’s Magic Wand. His family had a blast on the adventurous rides and exploring all the awe inspiring life-size LEGO Sculptures.

During Parker’s wish, they also reveled in a variety of festive dining at Café Tu Tu Tango, Mia’s Italian Kitchen and The Cheesecake Factory, where they’re still talking about the massive slices of cheesecake they indulged in for dessert. The restaurants provided memorable meals for the family to make their wish extra special. 

Their beautiful and convenient accommodations were provided by the Florida Hotel and Conference Center, having direct access to the upscale Mall at Millenia. 

Parker continues to struggle with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a progressive disorder that causes weakness and atrophy of all the body’s muscles.
