Andres took all challenges in stride

Andres was first admitted to Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles for an appendectomy. His challenges continued, and he returned after developing multiple abscesses. During his hospital stay, Andres got out of bed every day and demonstrated positive coping skills with all the unknowns of treatment. He was thoughtful and kind to staff and took all challenges in stride. His Child Life Specialist Misti Lindquist nominated him for his positivity during his difficult time, and Kids Wish Network is happy to reward this special Hero.
