Wish to Help Teen Build His Dream Machine, Computing Happiness

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (October 2024): Joseph continues to struggle with the symptoms of ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory condition that makes him feel different than other teens his age. It causes him to miss a lot of school, and brings so much stress to his daily life and social situations. Spending so much time at home, computers and gaming give Joseph an escape, and exponentially expand his world. He has big ambitions, wanting to build his own computer. Kids Wish Network made his dream come true, purchasing him generous Best Buy gift cards so he can shop for the components to build his dream machine.

Joseph’s illness has been challenging, coping with all the testing and symptoms that are difficult to manage. He’s already had two colonoscopies, and his last one revealed ulcers and a large number of polyps with some being successfully removed. Joseph currently undergoes monthly iron infusions, takes daily medications, and will soon be seeing a specialist to help determine the best personalized medical plan.

Many Thanks

Kids Wish Network could not have provided this wish to Joseph without the help of the many supporters who believe in making wishes come true for kids who need hope.

Visit www.kidswishnetwork.org to learn about our different programs. Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for children since 1997. We are dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children experiencing life-altering situations. We started with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering from life-threatening conditions but have since created additional programs to benefit kids nationwide, including Hero of the Month, Project Toy Drop, Holiday of Hope Gift Banks, and A Child Forever Funeral Assistance.

Every kid’s wish is worth the investment because every wish changes a life.
