Wish Reveal Elevates Excitement of Future Family Getaway
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah (August 2024): Altore was making his usual rounds riding the elevators at his favorite store Cabela’s in Lehi. He beamed with a giddy exuberance. Altore had no idea that his day was about to get even more thrilling. Just steps away from his adored elevators, he quickly became the center of attention with a special store announcement. A staffer revealed that Kids Wish Network was making Altore’s dream come true, giving him a fun-filled theme park trip for Disneyland, Universal and LEGOLAND! Cabela’s was so happy to share Altore’s incredible news, and further surprised him with a bouquet of balloons and gift basket filled with his favorite snacks, a large plush sea turtle, camo blanket, and Cabela’s hats. It was all an exhilarating whirl of excitement.
And just like his fun afternoon began, the celebration was complete with another ride up the elevator.
“He loved everything so much!” said his mom Jori. Altore’s much-needed getaway will be full of adventure, magical moments and meaningful family memories.
Altore has chromosomal deletion syndrome, is G-tube dependent, and copes with developmental delay. He undergoes physical, occupational, speech and horse therapies, and sees a variety of specialists.
