Edward was thrilled when he received his gift package

Edward suffers from chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis, a rare condition where the bones have lesions, inflammation, and pain that can appear in various parts of the body. It’s affected his life in many ways, physically and emotionally. It was tough for him having to give up playing basketball, but his favorite sport caused him flare-ups. He undergoes weekly injections in his knees, and further testing revealed it also spread to his elbows and skull. Edward has turned his attention to gaming and counted down the days until the new PlayStation 5 is released. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, purchased him a generous Best Buy gift card so he can be among the first to get the gaming system of his dreams. Edward was thrilled when he received his gift package. “What?!?! No way! No way! No way! Oh my gosh!” he exclaimed and cupped his hands over his face in astonishment. “Thank you so much!!!”

“Edward is so excited that he’ll be able to have his ultimate gaming system as soon as it comes out,” said his Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner.
