Wish Kid Enjoys Getaway on the Water

WASHINGTON, DC. (November 2020) Orionna had a rough start spending the first weeks of her life in the hospital. She was born premature and suffered a grade 4 brain bleed. Shortly after birth, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and her health complications continued with chronic lung disease and seizures. Orionna’s favorite place to getaway from it all is being by the water. She also loves staying in hotels and trips to the beach. Kids Wish Network, a children's charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, purchased Orianna and her family generous gift cards for Airbnb and Uber, so she can enjoy a memorable getaway with her family at the happy place of her choice. 

"Orionna’s wish will give her time away to have fun, relax and enjoy treasured moments of family togetherness," said her Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner.
