Wish Brings Animated Excitement and Orlando Adventures
ORLANDO, Fla. (August 2024): Zedekyah’s parents kept a big secret. He was the surprise guest of honor at Texas Roadhouse in Warsaw, Indiana, finding out that Kids Wish Network was making his dream come true. The entire staff joined in on the festivities, dressing up as Marvel and Disney characters. In true Texas Roadhouse fashion, Zedekyah’s incredible news was enthusiastically amplified, making him the center of attention. His wish was a family trip to Universal Studios and Disney World in Florida! The restaurant further celebrated him with many gifts including a Spider-Man backpack, and graciously donated his family’s meals.
Kids Wish Network flew Zedekyah’s family to Orlando for his special theme park adventure. Out of all the Disney parks, Zedekyah was partial to Animal Kingdom. He especially loved watching the Finding Nemo show from VIP seats. The spinning teacups were his favorite ride at the Magic Kingdom, and he most enjoyed the Harry Potter and Jurassic Park attractions at Universal Orlando.
He continued to be celebrated by all the restaurants who helped make his wish possible. There were many special dining experiences. When they arrived at Miller’s Ale House, he was warmly welcomed by the entire restaurant! Knowing how much Zedekyah loves Spider-Man, The Cheesecake Factory decorated his table highlighting his favorite superhero, and also gifted him Spider-Man action figures. Ford’s Garage had gifts for Zedekyah’s whole family, giving them all t-shirts, hats and cups from their restaurant’s in-house store. They also enjoyed dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse, and breakfast at Hash House A Go Go. His family’s meals were kindly donated by all the restaurants.
The hardest part of experiencing something wonderful is when it’s time to leave. Zedekyah loved their hotel so much, that he said he wanted to move there. His family especially enjoyed the pool. The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Lake Buena Vista generously provided their stay.
