Maverick Explores New Wonders

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (January 2021): Maverick is an explorer at heart who dreams of traveling to winter and summer landscapes. He loves snow-capped mountains but is also excited to experience fun in the sun on a beautiful beach. Kids Wish Network surprised him with generous Hotels.com and airline gift cards so he can venture to his ultimate dream destination. Wherever he chooses, he’ll be covered with his additional hot and cold-themed gift package brimming with a variety of garb and accessories for both climates.   

“We’re so excited that Maverick can now explore new wonders in the happy place of his dreams,” said his Wish Coordinator Kim Kreiner. 

Maverick has been through a difficult journey fighting Stage 3 Wilms Tumor. He underwent 25 weeks of chemo, nearly a week of radiation, and a radical nephrectomy having one of his kidneys removed. His family looks forward to celebrating his recovery and making precious memories during their special time away.
