4-year-old Hero Perseveres Through Hospitalization
After coming down with a respiratory virus, Judah needed a chest tube placement, oxygen support, NG tube, PICC line and multiple IVs. Judah was very brave and did a great job listening to his nurses and participating in his treatments. Judah had to stay in the hospital for more than a week, and spent some of that time alone due to siblings also being sick in the hospital.
He is caring and compassionate.“ Judah lights up the room for anyone blessed to be in his presence,”said his Child Life Specialist Alyssa Sullivan. “He is a 4-year-old who understands what he wants and has the perseverance to get it.” He missed his 18 siblings during his hospitalization, but enjoyed his phone calls, visits and FaceTime with them.
Judah was nominated by his Child Life Specialist Alyssa Sullivan at Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.Kids Wish Network is so happy toaward Judah as a Hero
