Teen with Diagnosis Inspires with Bravery and Resiliency

Tejan is a 17-year-old with a diagnosis of spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. He was adopted from Sierra Leone in October of 2018 at 14 years old. Tejan is adjusting to a different culture and lifestyle. He is learning English, and he is in the 11th grade with the desire to further his education. He was nominated by his Social Worker Tiffany Chess from Children’s Rehabilitation Service in Homewood, Alabama. Kids Wish Network is honored to acknowledge Tejan as a Hero.
