Tanner Faces New Challenges with Positivity
Tanner doesn’t allow fear-of-the-unknowns to affect how he lives his life.
Tanner wasn’t feeling well on his 13th birthday. His family had no idea it was the beginning of a struggle that would hit him hard and fast, changing his life forever. Within a couple of weeks, he became very ill and was drastically losing weight. Everything he ate made him sick. Tanner went to a specialist and bravely faced all the testing, having an MRI, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and many blood tests that revealed his chronic digestive condition. Throughout his ongoing struggles, Tanner doesn’t allow fear-of-the-unknowns affects how he lives his life. He faces everything head-on and perseveres with a positive attitude.
Tanner was nominated by his Child Life Specialist Brittany Spah at CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Pediatric Short Stay & Infusion Unit in Cokato, MN. Kids Wish Network awarded this hero for his courage and positivity that inspires others.
