Heart Patient Excited to Plan Ultimate Family Getaway

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (January 2022): Miguel loves to travel and has many destinations that he hopes to explore. Kids Wish Network made his dream come true with a travel package complete with generous gift cards for airfare and his choice of hotel accommodations for his ultimate family getaway.

Miguel was born with aortic obstructive disease, also called aortic stenosis. At three weeks old, he had his first open heart surgery and has since undergone additional heart surgeries. He’s also endured procedures like balloon dilations, lots of testing, and multiple hospital visits. Miguel recently had another open-heart surgery and will need a valve replacement in the future. The trip will give Miguel much-needed time away from all he’s going through and create so many special family memories.
