Sibling Heroes Come Together For Mom and Family During Cancer Treatments

Ava is the oldest of three with two little brothers. She is the best role model for them and her cousins. Through her mom’s diagnosis, she has maintained poise and positivity. She takes care of her brothers, and could run the house if needed. We all look up to her, she is a Hero in our house. During this challenging time, she has continued to excel in the classroom as well as on the soccer field.

Hudson has been at his mom’s side while she is being treated for cancer. He is a very good helper around the house, and loves his brother and sister. Hudson is also a great leader and friend in the classroom.

Austin is a huge help around the house with chores and other tasks. Even though things are a little challenging now, Austin has continued to excel at everything he puts his mind to. He has dealt with this change in our lives very well, and we are so proud to watch him continue to grow. 

Ava, Hudson and Austin were nominated by their mom, and Kids Wish Network is so honored to reward these helpful, brave and inspiring Heroes. They received special gift packages, and Universal passes for their family to enjoy a much-needed getaway of togetherness. “Being in Orlando for a week was just what we needed. Fun, sun, laughter and family time,” said their mom. “We are extremely grateful for the passes to Universal as well as the Gold pass to help alleviate standing in lines.  The kids had an amazing time and can't stop talking about it.  Our trip has given us renewed strength and energy going into the spring and summer months.”
