MacBook Connects Teen to Career Helping Others

OAKLAND, Calif. (December 2023): Flor never could have imagined the trauma she’d face in her teen years before her diagnosis of lupus and oral carcinoma. She had to have a tumor removed along with most of her teeth, the roof of her mouth, gum and bone. Since then Flor has been through several reconstructive surgeries and utilizes a prosthetic.

Now that she’s on the road to recovery, she can focus on her bright future ahead. Flor aspires to be an ultrasound technician, and really needed a computer for school. Kids Wish Network made her dream come true and more purchasing Flor a beautiful new MacBook Pro, Sony noise cancelling headphones for studying without distractions, and a generous Best Buy gift card for her to select the case of her choice.
