My friends were surprised that I was going and said I was so lucky,” said Kyle Griffith about his epic night attending the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, sent Kyle to its 36th annual live broadcast to see some of his favorite musical artists. Kyle’s night also started off as a celebrity. He and his older sister were picked up in a stylish limousine provided by Limos Long Island/BDJ Cars, and chauffeured to the Prudential Center for an unforgettable night of musical performances, the awarding of the coveted Moon Person statuettes, and outlandish fashion. He also looked swanky in his new Michael Strahan designer suit that he picked out using a generous retail gift card from Kids Wish Network. “Next to the performers, I was the best-dressed guy there,” Kyle teased. Among a star-packed audience, he experienced all the entertainment and playful antics in true VMA fashion. His favorite moments were seeing performances by rappers Fetty Wap, Lil Nas X, and the celebration’s finale with lots of confetti.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Kyle who has cerebral palsy. Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai said, “We’re thrilled that Kyle was able to attend this iconic event featuring his favorite performers and some of the music industry’s most popular artists.”
