Kaliber’s Joy and Strength Overshine His Fear

Kaliber demonstrated so much inner strength and resiliency.

At only three-years-old, Kaliber underwent surgery and multiple dialysis treatments. He mustered up bravery each day, holding still during his central line dressing changes. Even though he was in the hospital and dealing with so much uncertainty, he was joyful and enjoyed being silly to make the nurses smile.

Kaliber has gone through a lot in his healing process and demonstrated so much inner strength and resiliency. He was nominated by Megan Gerber, his Child Life Specialist at Wesley Children’s Hospital in Wichita, KS. Kids Wish Network is happy to award Kaliber as a Hero of the Month.
