In Memory of 4-Year-Old Cancer Warrior Grant

Wish Kid Grant Bravely Fought Cancer

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (October 2020): Grant was a sweet boy who loved fishing and collecting teddy bears. These were some of his comforts while battling neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that forms in nerve tissues. It was a very stressful time of treatments and many unknowns, yet this young warrior bravely fought cancer. Grant appeared to be doing well, and then his health took a turn for the worse. He had relapsed neuroblastoma, and this time around things were very different. Cancer took over and rapidly deteriorated his health. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, worked quickly to bring him happiness in his last precious days. We got Grant a generous Target gift card so he could shop for all the things he was wishing for. Within days, this little warrior lost his battle. Our Kids Wish Network family sends heartfelt condolences to his family for their devastating loss.
