Hero is a Warrior, Battles Trauma and Illness

Madeline’s been through a lot of trauma. She’s had to cope with the devastating loss of her dad, as well as her diagnosis of a life-altering condition. Her warrior spirit keeps her going in and out of the hospital, and adjusting to her ongoing treatments. Madeline refuses to let her illness hold her back, and also inspires others, bringing awareness through educating her school and community about her condition. Madeline continues fighting to live her best life. She was nominated by Parent Consultant Stacy Mitchell from CRS in Anniston, Alabama. Mitchell said, “She is truly amazing and a true hero.” Kids Wish Network joyfully rewarded Madeline as a Hero of the Month.

We are dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children experiencing life-altering situations. We started with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering from life-threatening conditions but have since created additional programs to benefit kids nationwide, including Hero of the Month, Project Toy Drop, Holiday of Hope Gift Banks, and A Child Forever Funeral Assistance.
