Wish is a Time to Celebrate Special Miracle

READING, Pa. (January 2023): Emma is captivated with the movie Frozen II and watches it over and over again. It’s one of the simple pleasures that brings a big smile to her face as she struggles with a lengthy list of medical issues. Kids Wish Network is giving Emma and her family a time to smile, time away, and time to celebrate Emma who wasn’t expected to live past 6 months old.

Kids Wish Network is making it possible for Emma to go to Disney World, facilitating tickets for her family, and tickets to Universal Orlando courtesy of Universal. Kids Wish Network also purchased the family a Pack & Go gift card that can be used for expenses like airfare, accommodations, gasoline and food. It will be a very special time of family togetherness.  

Emma was born with holoprosencephaly, and is challenged in many ways that affect her brain, lungs, digestion and mobility. She’s dependent on others, and also requires oxygen, a G-tube for nutrition, and a wheelchair or stroller to get around. She’ll soon be undergoing a complex brain surgery.
