Football Fan Scores, and Surprised by Cowboys and Razorbacks!
SHERWOOD, Ark. (April 2024): Timothy is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, even his bedroom’s décor showcases his loyalty for his adored team. His hero is Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb, and Timothy hoped to see him play at their home stadium. His favorite college football team, the Arkansas Razorbacks, recorded a special video message for Timothy, letting him know that Kids Wish Network was making his dream come true with generous Ticketmaster gift cards for his family to choose their ultimate game and seats when football season kicks off again. The Arkansas Razorbacks also thanked him for his support and invited Timothy to their home opener next season. Timothy told his wish coordinator, “That’s great, amazing and awesome, you made my day!”
Kids Wish Network also surprised Timothy with an amazing gift package from the Dallas Cowboys. He received a mascot bear, backpack, shirt, hat, photos, and a football personally signed by CeeDee Lamb! It’s a major score that will further fuel his love of the Cowboys.
Timothy was born with all of his organs outside of his body except his heart. At only two days old, he had his first surgery, and was put into a medically induced coma for 8 weeks. He was not expected to thrive, but his family kept their faith and he remained on life support. After six months in the hospital, they were on their home just a couple days before Christmas to celebrate his first holiday. He’s undergone many surgeries, with his most complicated lasting for 16 hours. He’s not able to play sports, so immerses himself in his love of football through his beloved Cowboys.
