Felicity Remains Joyful Pushing Through Painful Challenges

Felicity’s bravery shines through in everything she does, and being hospitalized was no exception. She underwent a spinal fusion, and the very next morning pushed through her nausea and pain to walk a few steps. Felicity also persevered throughout her physical therapy sessions each day. By the end of her stay, she was walking laps around the hospital, sharing her positivity, and uplifting joy across the unit. While her hospital stay was long and full of challenges, Felicity still smiled and continued to get stronger each day. She was nominated by Monica Lantz, her Child Life Specialist at The Children’s Hospital at OU MedicalCenter in Oklahoma City, OK. Kids Wish Network is honored to award this Hero for her courage, positive outlook, and determination.
