Wish Helps Family Cope After Devastating Loss

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 2023): Jermaine had a history of congenital heart disease, and in his young life already underwent three open-heart surgeries. His health took a turn for the worse, and he was placed on life support. Sadly, complications from his condition caused him to pass away while in the process of having his dream come true. Kids Wish Network continued to honor Jermaine with a wish, providing his family with assistance to help with the financial burdens of his medical bills. His family was also able to utilize additional Kids Wish Network programs including A Child Forever funeral assistance, and Hero of the Month that awarded his siblings special gifts to honor their bravery during such a difficult time.
