Anchors Away to Real-Life Postcard in Paradise
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (March 2024): Anabella was at the Cheesecake Factory thinking she was celebrating her shared birthday with her younger sister. It was actually just a ploy to distract Anabella from her big surprise. The plot twist unfolded as the restaurant manager came out and announced that Kids Wish Network was making her dream come true… she and her family were going on a Carnival cruise to the destination of her choice! It was all so surreal, she had been dreaming about taking a cruise to somewhere very special in her heart, the exotic islands of the Caribbean. Kids Wish Network purchased her family generous Carnival gift cards so they could choose their ultimate onboard accommodations and itinerary. Carnival is elevating their experience, providing priority embarkation and some special VIP perks. The Cheesecake Factory in Palm Beach Gardens also helped celebrate, providing her family’s meals for the meaningful wish reveal.
They’ve chosen an Eastern Caribbean cruise, and will soon be anchors away. Anabella and her family have so many adventures to look forward to on their tropical getaway by sea to St. Thomas, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. The turquoise waters, stunning beaches and captivating island life will soon be her real-life postcard in paradise.
Anabella appeared healthy until her sudden onset of symptoms. The most alarming was her struggle to walk. The results of her MRI astonished doctors, she had a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball. Anabella was transferred to a children’s hospital and underwent surgery to remove the mass, and remained hospitalized for 2 weeks. Anabella was then transferred to a facility in another city for proton radiation therapy that continued for 3 months. She’s in remission, and continues testing to monitor her health.
