A ‘Victor’ious Wish with WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins
Victor Ontiveros Jr. lights up when he talks about WWE and how he wants to be a WWE Superstar when he grows up. He has aortic valve stenosis, a condition where the heart’s aortic valve narrows and reduces or blocks blood flow from the heart. This doesn’t stop Victor from having bold dreams, and one of them came true with Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses. Everything was kept tightly under wraps until Victor received a personalized message from WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins. Victor was going to have a major win of his own meeting his hero.
The day of Victor’s wish, he and his family arrived at Pechanga Arena to see WWE Live San Diego. He also felt like a star and was gifted special merchandise - a rare limited edition poster with featured WWE Superstars. Even before the main event in the ring, he experienced so much excitement hanging out with WWE superstar Seth Rollins. Rollins gave him an official program that he personally signed for Victor, signed t-shirts and wristbands that he’s worn in the ring. He also awarded Victor with his own victorious moment, having him hold his Universal Title. “Getting to hold the title was one of my favorite things. It was heavy!” said Victor excitedly. He also presented his idol with a gift… a custom Wish Granter shirt honoring Rollins’ WWE Championship title. Rollins said, “Since the shirt has your photo on it, I want you to sign it for me too.”
When it was showtime, Victor’s family caught all the live-action in seats close to the ring. Kindness continued… A fan in the front row noticed Victor’s Wish Kid shirt and gifted him their special souvenir – a WWE Superstar Experience folding chair. He also met Superstars Becky Lynch, Jimmy Uso, and Rey Mysterio. Uso gave him a hat, and Mysterio later posted a photo of Victor meeting him on his Instagram.
“Thank you so much for making this happen for Victor,” said his mom Claudia. “He was treated like a king. He is so happy and woke up the next morning with the biggest smile on his face.”

As part of his wish, Victor’s family will also experience SeaWorld San Diego and LEGOLAND California.
