Hero Auctions Off Hog to Benefit Friend Battling Cancer

Jesse is the definition of a true friend. His bestie Claire is undergoing treatment for brain cancer, and when she doesn’t want to go to school, he helps cheer her up and gets her breakfast in the mornings. He also does what he can to lift her spirits when she’s sad or mad. Jesse is devoted to Claire and always has time to play with her and help with whatever she needs. Jesse recently did the most amazing act of kindness. He auctioned off his fair market hog raising$19,500, and donated every dollar to help Claire with cancer treatment expenses. He was nominated by Claire’s mom Rachael who said, “He has the biggest heart of any kid I know.” Kids Wish Network is thrilled to honor Jesse as a Hero.
