At three years old, Jeffrey’s world drastically changed after being in a serious car accident. He needed casts for both broken legs, and couldn’t bear any weight on them for at least a month. Jeffrey could only sit or be in his bed, and relied on a wheelchair to get around. There was also a possibility of surgery, which would prolong his recovery time. It was a big adjustment being totally dependent on others and not being able to run around and play, yet he kept his sense of humor and remained cheerful. Before the accident, he was very active riding his bike and hiking with his family in the woods. He also loved helping his mommy and daddy cook. He adores his big sister and missed playing with her so much. He was nominated by his mom, who is so proud of how he handled all the adversities of his injury.
