Programs

Since 1997, Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for thousands of children all over the country. The charity started out with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering with life-threatening conditions. Since then we have created numerous programs benefiting kids nationwide. The catalyst for launching these programs began when it became clear to us that the children we serve demonstrated needs above and beyond the extent of wishes.

  • Wish Granting

    We grant wishes to kids between ages 3 and 18 who are battling life-threatening conditions. Wish kids can request just about anything for their wish, such as trips to theme parks, meeting celebrities, travel, and shopping sprees.

  • Hero of the Month

    We award a special Hero of the Month award to children in the care of hospitals, homeless shelters, abuse shelters and other facilities. These heroes do not have life-threatening illnesses, but have faced and overcome tragic circumstances with tremendous courage.

  • Kids Wish Network On Tour

    This program was designed to help children nationwide who experience difficult situations relating to sexual abuse, neglect, homelessness, and other forms of adversity. Our goal is to bring “miles of smiles” to these children through gifts of toys, clothes, necessities and other items.

  • Holiday of Hope Gift Banks

    This program bring smiles and laughter into the lives of children in the care of hospitals and other pediatric care facilities. These shipments of toys, books and other items offer care-givers the opportunity to distract the children from often distressing situations.

    Funeral Assistance

    Our Funeral Assistance program makes funds available to a wish family in the event of their child’s passing. In their times of need, Kids Wish Network is committed to helping our wish families honor their child in a respectful and dignified manner by ensuring a proper end of life ceremony.
