Holiday of Hope Testimonials

We are very thankful for this donation. We struggle to find funding and donations to stock playrooms and gift closets. The variety of toys and the age-appropriateness is appreciated! This is a wonderful program and children nationwide are touched by your giving and caring hearts.

Dear Shelley,
What a wonderful surprise it was to be contacted by the Kids Wish Network during the 2007 Christmas Season. During a year that the donations had been at an all time low it was incredible to have the opportunity to become a member facility for the “Holiday of Hope Gift Bank Program”.

The approximately $35,000 worth of toys that were bagged by age and sex were such a wonderful addition to what we normally provide at Christmas. The children that are served through the Cops/Kids Program are at-risk/disadvantaged whose parents are low income. It is such a pleasure to be involved in making children’s wishes come true and by accepting your generous donation we had a fantastic Christmas this year.

I would like to thank you for this generous donation and I look forward to working with your organization with future events.

Respectfully,

Mark G. LeCouris

Dear Ms. Askin,
Surprises in every carton…that’s what we experienced when we began opening the 66 boxes from the Kids Wish Network. Puzzles, books, stuffed animals, colored pencils, ribbons and flowers, magnets, and blankets were popping out of boxes. Our excitement at having gifts for our students this time of the year was delightful. Our art teacher’s eyes were wide with amazement at the supplies for making art projects with the students using the colorful ribbons and flowers.

Your generosity is heartwarming. The unexpected call from Heather offering these items took a moment to visualize and comprehend. We thank you with grateful hearts from our students, parents, and staff. This season will be more joyous for the Paul B. Stephens community with your largess. We have included some photographs for your enjoyment!

Sincerely,

Virginia Wirt, Principal

Dear Heather:
On behalf of the Sunrise staff and the participants we serve, I write this letter with sincere admiration and gratitude. In this time of financial cutbacks and uncertainty, our community friends continue to keep us in their hearts and to support Sunrise and our participants with loving generosity. You support of our mission to give free services to those who have been impacted by domestic and sexual violence means so much to all of us here at Sunrise.

Thank you for your donation 2.5 pallets (98 boxes) of miscellaneous toys, games, clothing, personal items and household goods on 6/21/09. Your generosity helps make the difference for victims who come through our doors in need of safety, domestic and sexual violence counseling services and daily necessities such as clothing and food. Please know we couldn’t do, what we do, without organizations, such as Kids Wish Network, and people like you!
Thank you for keeping Sunrise in your hearts.

Sincerely,

Penny Morrill, CEO

Margo,
THANK YOU!! Really it is amazing what you and the rest of the Tampa Bay area has done for the patients here at St. Joseph’s Children’s. We can’t wait to restock the playroom shelves.
