Joseph was in the hospital for 2 weeks. During that time he received blood, IV feedings and underwent major surgery, when he found out he was nominated for this award all he could say was, “Mom, my friend down the hall deserves this, they have gone through more than I have.” He felt like others had it more difficult than he had. He was so humbled. Joseph was so appreciateive of receiving this award. We thiank you for making this experience a little easier to go through. We thank you for being so thoughtful of children that do have to go through different and difficult situations. Thank you.
