Holiday, FL. (November 2016): National children’s charity Kids Wish Network (KWN) recently partnered with Syfy channel’s hit TV show Face Off to grant a once in a lifetime experience for a 15 year-old California girl diagnosed with Crohn’s, a life threatening disease.
Kids Wish Network, which began fulfilling wishes for sick children in 1997, sent Wish Kid Carly Marshall to the location where Syfy’s hit TV show Face Off is produced. It was there the teen was able to meet host McKenzie Westmore and Glenn Hetrick, Ve Neill and Neville Page, judges for the professional make-up and costume competition series reality show.
As if meeting the stars of Face Off wasn’t enough, Carly also had nothing less than VIP treatment for the entirety of her wish. Face Off was very generous to Carly, giving her make-up and accessories to take home and experiment with.
During her wish, Carly couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. “I did not think about medical related things as I usually do,” she explained. “It brought the family together to do something fun and something we wouldn’t have been able to do without Kids Wish Network.”
“The entire Face Off production crew really went above and beyond to make this such a wonderful experience for our Wish Kid Carly.” said Anna Lanzatella, executive director for Kids Wish Network. “Giving these once in a lifetime experiences really brings hope to children who deserve some brightness in their lives.”
While in Los Angeles, Carly and her family enjoyed accommodations at the very upscale Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. During her wish they were chauffeured in a plush sedan from Black Car LA and enjoyed a memorable meal at The Palm where Carly spent time with executive chef Pedro Inoscenico.
