Cooper always gives 110%
Cooper was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 9 months old and utilizes regular therapy to increase his muscle strength. As a result of his condition, Cooper suffers from complete paralysis on his right side, known as hemiplegia. Recently, Cooper was once again treated at Shriners Hospitals for Children in the Twin Cities. He underwent two medical procedures while under anesthesia to help improve his condition.
Cooper’s nominator says he “is bright and determined to succeed. He does not want to be seen as ‘different’ and always gives 110%.”
KWN also heard that Cooper recently organized a toy drive at his school with the proceeds going to other hospitalized children! Cooper is a shining example of a Hero of the Month, and we are so proud to recognize him!
