John has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which is cancer of the white blood cells. After his diagnosis in May, John has endured weekly chemotherapy treatments and will continue to do so for three years. Unfortunately, though his body is responding well to the treatments, it is taking a toll on him.
For his wish, John got to meet Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear at their Florida home in Walt Disney World! He loved riding every ride he could and couldn’t resist giving a bunch of “high fives” in his brand new Mickey Mouse gloves.
