Right after he was born, Noah suffered a bleed in his brain which caused brain damage. Then, at only 8 weeks old, his doctors diagnosed him with having cerebral palsy. This condition includes a group of disorders affecting the brain and nervous system functions, impairing activities such as movement, hearing, seeing, and thinking. Noah has endured multiple surgeries on his eyes and legs and also has tubes in his ears to help with his hearing. In addition, Noah has Botox injections in his legs to help control the spasms of his leg muscles.
Noah asked if he could visit the theme parks in Orlando, Florida for his wish, and that’s just what he did!
Noah’s very first rollercoaster ride was the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. He was trying to be brave, but in the picture they took on the coaster his eyes were huge! He also decided to try Space Mountain, which was a much milder coaster, and he loved it!
According to Noah’s mom: “When we were on the monorail heading toward the Magic Kingdom and saw our first good view of the castle, Noah’s eyes got real big and he said ‘Wow!’”
Noah’s favorite part of the wish, though, was meeting Mickey and getting his autograph along with those of Donald, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy, of course.
