Members of the Southeast Texas community will come together tonight to help raise money so a Beaumont teen with cerebral palsy can meet Chef Emeril Lagasse.
Diners at Fuddruckers, 4545 Dowlen Road, will be able to donate a portion of their tab to help Brian, 16, of Beaumont raise $4,000 to meet Lagasse later this month, according to a news release from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Rod Carroll with the sheriff’s office said Brian picked Lagasse because of his love for Food Network, and Carroll hopes members of the community will come to support the Kids Wish Network fundraiser.
“Coming from Plano, Texas, that’s what’s neat about this area,” Carroll said. He said Plano would host festivals, but few fundraisers.
