As you all know, I love to tell you about the fabulous donations we receive from generous companies all across the county. We are so grateful and honored to have such wonderful companies whose support allows us to send such great toys and gifts to kids in crisis nationwide.
This week, I have to tell you about one of our loyal donors, USAopoly. They sent us – get this – 10 pallets worth of fantastic games; everything from Beatles Trivial Pursuit to Nightmare Before Christmas Yahtzee! See, at USAopoly, they take classic games and put a cool, new spin on them by incorporating various animated characters, sports teams, etc. Their games are a surefire hit with kids of all ages.
No matter how much technology is around, nothing beats a game night with family or friends. Playing Yahtzee and Monopoly on game night was always something I looked forward to as a child and now still do today with my own family. It is so relaxing and a great way to let go of your troubles for a little while. That’s why I am super excited that we have these wonderful games to give to some very appreciative children. Maybe one day they can start a game night tradition of their own and, of course, thanks again to USAopoly for all you do for our kids!
