Happy Volunteer Recognition Day!

Here at Kids Wish Network our number of dedicated volunteers continues to grow. There are thousands of wonderful people throughout the country who donate their time and services to volunteer for our organization and on April 20, National Volunteer Recognition Day, we wanted to thank all the businesses, organizations, donors and supporters who have gone above and beyond for our kids!

From face painters to professional athletes and celebrities, we’ve seen – and welcomed – our fair share of caring individuals who are on a mission to help brighten the lives of our deserving kids. We love what we do here at Kids Wish Network and we know that we couldn’t impact so many young lives without all the wonderful people who have lent a hand to help us reach out to our sick and deserving kids across the country.

As a national organization, we are truly humbled by the fact that so many amazing people come together and take time out of their lives to make an impact on our kids. It is such an overwhelmingly rewarding feeling!

Here are just a few volunteers who have recently helped us spread joy to our kids:

Bear Grylls
Brad Paisley
The Cast of NCIS
Chic-fil-A
City Officials of Monroe County, Tennessee
Dolly Parton
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
The Ghost Adventurers
Home Depot
Innisbrook
John Cena
The Jonas Brothers
Kevin James
LA Galaxy
Michael J. Fox
Miley Cyrus

Aside from the wonderful volunteers above, we’ve also been lucky enough to have some help from the Wal-Mart Management Team and some of their employees, which includes:

Arnie Cuellar
Brad Ausdemore
Jason Edwards
Jeff Worthy
Jennifer Emsden
Ken Ellis
Lara Musumeche
Marcus Sakaniwa
Mike Musumeche
Stephanie White

We’ve also had plenty of help from our wonderful Kohl’s Department Stores volunteers. Kohl’s is always sending over employees from various Tampa Bay Area stores and we’ve recently had some outstanding volunteers come in, including:

Alicia Kellogg
Carole Hartouta
James O’Leary
Katherine Connor
Lauren Triplett

To all the outstanding volunteers who have donated their time to help us give our kids a break from medical treatments, hospital stays and uncertain circumstances, thank you for being a huge help! We are truly appreciative of your hard work and dedication.

Happy Volunteer Recognition Day!
